Juliana Touihri

Mrs. Touihri is originally from Iowa but finished high school in Sumter, South Carolina.  She attended Furman University where she earned a Bachelor’s in Arts in French with a minor in mathematics.  She attended the University of South Carolina and received a Master’s Degree in French.  She studied at the Institut de Touraine in Tours, France, the summer after completing her Master’s Degree.

Certified to teach both French and mathematics, Mrs. Touihri started her teaching career as a seventh grade math teacher in Sumter, SC at R.E. Davis School.  She has also taught  mathematics and French at Sumter High School and in Charleston County before coming to Fort Dorchester High School in 2012.

Mrs. Touihri was a Fulbright scholar who taught English in France during two separate school years—1999/2000 in Lille, France, and 2004/2005 in Villefontane, France.
