Ms. Masopust primarily serves students in PD, 4K, Kindergarten, 2nd, and 4th grades this year. She has been a school counselor at Beech Hill since 2010. She earned an M.ED. in Counseling Education from The Citadel Graduate College and a B.S. in Allied Health Science from The Medical University of South Carolina. Ms. Masopust became a National Certified Counselor (NCC) in 2010, and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in 2012. She loves using her skills as a school counselor to help children overcome obstacles that impede their learning, work with parents who call on her to assist with their children’s challenges, and collaborate with educators and other counselors. She is fascinated with modern brain research and applies this knowledge to help understand challenging behaviors. In her free time, Ms. Masopust loves yoga, barre, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.

Jen Roland is a Summerville native and is so excited to join the Beech Hill family. She will be primarily serving students in 1^st, 3^rd, and 5^th grades this year. Though new to the Beech Hill team, she has spent the last 16 years teaching music to students in grades K4-12 in Dorchester 2 schools and in our local community. She recently earned a M.Ed. in Counselor Education at the Elementary level at The Citadel. In addition, she has become a National Certified Counselor. She also has a Masters in Music, Vocal Performance and a Bachelors in Music Education, Choral K-12 from Converse College in Spartanburg, SC. Ms. Roland has three children who are excited about joining the Beacon family. When she is not at school, she enjoys cooking and meal planning and being an avid lover of all things Disney!
