¡Hola! ¡Bienvenidos a la clase de español! Languages and teaching are my passion! I am in my seventh year of teaching, and my second year of teaching at Summerville High School. Having graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Adolescence Education/Spanish in 2009, as well as my Master's Degree in Spanish Linguistics in 2012, I hope to impart my love of other languages and cultures to my students and motvate them to become proficent speakers and writers of the target language. My interest in Spanish led me to study in Ecuador in the spring of 2009, and to this day, I consider my study abroad experience to be one of the most enriching experiences of my life. I hope to one day take my students on a trip to a Spanish-speaking country, in order to show them the incredible value and excitement of knowing the world's fouth most common language! 

I am originally from New York, and enjoy traveling back and forth between South Carolina and New York, in order to visit family up north. I love the beach, running, and bike riding. I have begun working on becoming certified in an additional language. ¡Muchas gracias!
