I have been teaching for the past 20 years. I received my B.A. in Arts in English from Colorado State University with a minor in Education. Later, I attended Charleston Southern University receiving a Masters in Education. I received my National Board Certification in 2004 and again in 2014. I taught 8th grade ELA at Challenger Middle School for three years in Colorado. Then after moving back home to South Carolina I taught English I, II, and III at Goose Creek High School.  This is my fourth year at Summerville High School.
