Bienvenidos and Bienvenue! I am thrilled to teach Spanish 1 and French 1 at Summerville this year. I graduated from CofC with a Bachelors in Education, French, and Latin American Studies. This is my 4th year teaching. I am currently working on a master's in Education in World Languages and Spanish.  I have travelled extensively through the Caribbean and Europe, and my priority is to help prepare students to be globally-minded citizens through language and culture.

In French 1, we will be learning how to communicate effectively with francophone speakers both through language and mutual cultural understanding. Students will study and practice how to communicate about themselves, describe others, likes and dislikes, order in a restaurant, and talk about their school and families. Spanish 1 will study the interaction of Spanish language and American culture in addition to learning basic communication skills to talk about themselves, describe others, likes and dislikes, order in a restaurant, and talk about their school and families.
