I have been a teacher at Summerville High School since 1999 in Business Education. I earned a bachelor degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and also majored in Spanish from Charleston Southern University. I have a master degree in Technology in Education from Lesley University. I am trained as an ADEPT evaluator and have had the opportunity to mentor first year teachers. I also serve as the department chair for Career and Technology Education (CATE). I have also served on the High Schools That Work (HSTW) committee and the School Improvement Council (SIC).

My goal as an educator is to develop good relationships with my students as I prepare them for college or to go into the workforce.
