Hi!  Welcome to my web page.  This is my 6th year at Summerville High School and my 35th year of teaching.  I was born and raised right outside of Pittsburgh, PA and moved here right after I graduated from college. I have always been at the high school level and have enjoyed every day!  I teach the Life Skills Vocational class to all grade levels.  My class is based on getting the students work-ready, which means we focus on acquiring and sharpening both hards skills and soft skills.  Our class also runs the GreenWave Enterprise, which is a school-based store where the students get hands-on experience with running a cash register, building, painting, cooking, dealing with customers, counting money, etc.  I believe it is very important for parents and teachers to establish a relationship to help their child achieve their fullest potential.
