My name is Kathy Owens and this is my 33rd year with Dorchester School District Two. I was a teaching assistant for 12 years and this is my 21st year as a classroom teacher. I love sharing math with my students, especially as it pertains to their everyday lives. It is my goal to help each student reach their potential and hopefully ease their fears when it comes to math.

I have three grown children who were all very different students. I have one who struggled to graduate, one who was about average, and one who excelled;  so I can relate to parents and the challenges they face with their children.
