River Oaks Middle School has transitioned to Distance Learning beginning March 18^th through March 31^st. During this time, I will have office hours Monday – Friday from 10:00am-11:00am and 2:00pm-3:00pm where I will be available to check and respond to any email correspondence. 

Student Learning Packets are available to all ROMS students, specified by grade level. These packets can also be accessed under the Class Files & Handouts link, as well as on the main page of the ROMS website.

Hello, my name is Ms. Finley, and this is my 14th year teaching middle school. This is my 6th year teaching at River Oaks Middle School. I teach seventh grade ELA ACE, and I am looking forward to a successful school year. I am also a Jr. Beta Club sponsor and a member of the PTSA.

I attended the University of South Carolina (go Gamecocks) where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Southern Wesleyan University where I received a Master's degree in education.  I have two children, and I love reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. I also really love food, especially dark chocolate!! I also like candles and coffee, and I collect coffee mugs!
