I was born in Toledo, Ohio and lived in a small farming community near there called Metamora. I attended the University of Toledo where I received a Bachelors Degree in Education. I received my MEd (Masters of Education) from Central Michigan University before settling in Atlanta to teach both middle and elementary school. I now reside in Summerville.
