I have been blessed to teach what I love for over 20 years- biology is my passion and I am absolutely thrilled to be part of the Project Lead the Way Biomedical Science program at Summerville High School.  I have the unique privilege of introducing new recruits into the fun and exciting world of biomedical science in the course Principles of Biomedical Science.  And a greater privilege to teach them again in third level- Medical Interventions.  The PLTW classroom is different from any other classroom they have ever been a part of before. The students are active participants and are immersed in science using lab work, modern techonology and individual instruction.  They LOVE it!  And my most sincere hope is that they will decide to pursue one of the many careers in health science to which they will be introduced.
