Senior Chief Stone joined the Navy in August 1987 at the age of 17.he completed Basic Training at RTC San Diego as well as Basic Hospital Corpsman School and Pharmacy Technician School. In 1996 he attended Surface Independent Duty Corpsman Training and served as an IDC for the remainder of his 22 years of service.
