• Dear parents/guardians,

Due to COVID-19, schools have been closed via Governor McMaster effective 3/16-3/31. Updates to the closures may be found at:

Updates will also be available on the JPES Facebook poage and the DD2 district page:

During this time, students have been given the opportunity to complete work one of two ways:

    1. Digital submissions via Teams (To access Teams, please view the following link: https://dorchester2-my.sharepoint.com/:v:/g/personal/mconnelly_dorchester2_k12_sc_us/Ee4sbCkCN7FEpFxwWbxRKGsBlkZ0tWg9OZYRLGdopPoFOA?e=dBAWJv)

    2. Paper packets that were picked up on 3/17 or mailed out. To submit this work- images or pdfs may be sent to me via email or returned via paper when we return (information will be sent via email regarding this as information becomes available)

My contact email is dsouder@dorchester2.k12.sc.us  and I am available during office hours of 10-11 and 2-3 for interaction on Teams and via email. I will do my best to be as available to you as possible during these times.

A few brief points I want to share with you:

-Digital learning materials are available in Teams and are released daily to allow for pacing

-All resources that have been provided via email and paper packets may be found in my file library (this includes district materials as well)

-Please be sure to complete work, and also complete fine arts activities.

-Students who share Ms. Corbin with me should check her website for information and resources

-Students who share Ms. Rorie with me should be completing either Read 180 minutes or the packet if this is not an option. Please check her website for information and resources

-Students who share Ms. English with me should be completing 45 minutes of Imagine Math per week completing one lesson. Please check her website for information and resources

-Students who share Ms. Saunders. Mr. Brown, and Ms. Cruz please check their webpages for work.

Please be on the look out for emails from myself and your child's teachers. If you have any questions, please do not hestitate to email me via me email or on Dojo. It is my goal to make this transition as smooth as possible, so I am here to help!
