Salve! My name is Catherine Raines. I graduated from the College of Charleston with degrees in classics, history, and foreign language education. I have taken Latin since my freshman year of high school, and I am excited to spread the appreciation and wonder that comes along with ancient studies. 

The study of Latin is not only fun and interesting, but it also helps students understand the English language and our own history. Latin is great for boosting SAT and ACT scores, enhancing resumes and college applications, and for exploring the foundations of our society.
