Mrs. Jordan McMeekin

Hello!

I was born and raised in Montgomery, AL. I attended college at Clemson University, where I got a Bachelor of the Arts in Science Teaching and Chemistry. After teaching at Palmetto High School in Williamston, SC, I decided to take a few years off of teaching and participate in mission work that took me all over the world.  I lived in 11 different countries and did a variety of work including manual labor, teaching, and food ministry.

Since moving to Charleston in January of 2018, I worked as a librarian assistant at Westview Elementary School in Berkeley County. During that time, I was lucky enough to get a job at the Fort, and I am so ecstatic that I am part of the Patriot family now!

During my free time, I love to play with my sweet kitty, Luna, and read. I love to be outside kayaking or hiking, and I am also obsessed with travelling. I don’t want to leave any place unseen! I have been to 8 different US National Parks, and I hope to hike them all one day! I also dream of backpacking Europe during the summer.

Don’t hesitate to reach out! I’m very open, and my favorite part of teaching is getting to know my students. I try to always be a friendly face, a helping hand, and a guide through the craziness that is chemistry and earth science! Hopefully you will love it just as much as I do!
