Mr. Overbey joined the Fort Dorchester staff in the fall of 2018.  This is his second career after graduating from Wittenberg University in 1997.  He has almost 20 years of sales and marketing experience, but in 2015 decided to follow his passion for working with young people and become a teacher.  He graduated with a Master’s Degree in Special Education in the spring of 2018. 

He was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and moved to Charleston in 2005.  He lives with his life partner, Jen, and their daughter Elisabeth who was born two weeks into his teaching career.  He is a diehard Cincinnati Bengals fan, but enjoys watching football, baseball, and basketball.   During rare free time, he enjoys reading history books and cooking.
