Dr. Dolores W. Simpson, a native of New York, grew up in Dorchester County, South Carolina and graduated from Summerville High School. She attended Webster University and earned a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology.  She later pursued and obtained  a Ph.D in Christian Counseling from His Excellence Theological Seminary.

She was employed as an investigator with the Department of Social Services before her career as a Special Education Teacher in Dorchester County Schools.

     Dr. Simpson is married and has four adult children and three Nana kids. She is a faithful member of New Bethel Sounds of Praise Pentecostal Fellowship Ministries where she serves as the Sunday School Pastor as well as serving in various capacities of the ministry.

     She enjoys sewing, reading, spending time with family and going to church.  She is looking forward to retirement when she will be able to enjoy doing the things she has little time to do now.
