Mrs. Williams is a graduate of Summerville High School (1983) - long before Fort Dorchester High School ever existed.  And, she is a graduate of the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.  This is Mrs. Williams 18th year teaching at Fort Dorchester High School. Prior to teaching, Mrs. Williams had a career at Westvaco Corporation in Accounting, Personnel, and Public Relations for 13 years.  When she was in high school, she worked as a Cooperative Education student at Westvaco Corporation during her senior year.  She  stayed in contact with many of the people she worked with and was hired after college. Mrs. Williams lives in the Summerville area with her husband, Dempsey of 24  years.  She has one daughter, Sophia, who is a senior here at “The Fort.”  Her hobbies include reading, working in the yard, boating, and hanging out at the pool.  Her favorite vacation spot is anywhere near the water.
