River Oaks Middle School has transitioned to Distance Learning beginning March 18^th through March 31^st. During this time, I will have office hours Monday – Friday from 10:00am-11:00am and 2:00pm-3:00pm where I will be available to check and respond to any email correspondence. 

Student Learning Packets are available to all ROMS students, specified by grade level. These packets can also be accessed under the Class Files & Handouts link, as well as on the main page of the ROMS website.

Hello! My given name is Mr. Brown but most people call me Mr. Purple because it is my favorite color and I wear it so often. I come from an Air Force family and lived around the world and all around the US. I am married, have two adult daughters, two grandchildren, and two lovable but useless dogs. My favorite pastimes include golf, backpacking, and scuba diving.

I am looking forward to a great first year with my River Oaks Middle School family (Go Bobcats!). I will be teaching 7^th Grade Mathematics this year and this will be my 3^rd year in Dorchester School District 2 as well as my 13^th year of teaching math in South Carolina. I look forward to helping your child reach and exceed their own goals in Math!
