I am excited to be back at SHS this year.  This is my 28th year teaching, and 23 of those years were at the high school level.  I just spent the last 4 years at DuBose Middle School, so I already know a few of my students.  I have enjoyed seeing the familiar faces.  I am married to the AP US History/AP European History teacher at SHS, and we have 2 sons and 1 dog.  Our older son, Cody, graduated from Pinewood Prep and Charleston Southern University and is a second year teacher at DuBose Middle School.  He is married to Hanley who will also be a middle school teacher after graduating this year from Charleston Sourthern.  Our younger son, Dustin, is a sophomore here at SHS.  Our dog, Darth, is a 4 year old Dachshund.  I look forward to working with my students and their parents to make this a successful school year.  Together we can accomplish great things.
