    Q:   How do I log in to Clever?

    Parents do not have Clever credentials.  This program is meant to securely link all of our students' platforms and websites under one school-assigned User name and Password.   Our students can all access Clever from home using the same exact credentials they use at school.  Simply click the Clever link on our home page to log in.  Do NOT Google Clever and try to log in that way.  You MUST start at our link on our home page (see picture here).Clever Link

    Getting into Clever at home

    1. Use the link on our GAP Homepage.
    2. Select “Sign in with Active Directory”
    3. Enter your student school-based email address. This is your school computer user name + @dorchester2.k12.sc.us 

    (example:  lskywalker@dorchester2.k12.sc.us)

    1. Enter your regular school computer log in password

    NOTE: If you have more than one student at home using Clever, each student will need to select "Log Out" at the end of their session using the icon at the top right of the screen.  At this point, the next stuent can go to https://clever.com/in/dorchester2, and then log in.




    Q:   Where will the assignments be located?

    Once you have logged into Clever, open the PowerSchool app.  When you open this app, you will see a large blue "welcome" screen with a spot to type in a PowerSchool ID.  DO NOT use that.  Please scroll down to the button that says "Sign in with Microsoft."

    Once the PowerSchool/Unified Classroom page opens, you will be able to see any assignments the teachers have posted.  On the right, check the "Upcoming Assignments" list.  Also, in the center 3 columns, your teacher may have put an "Event" on each day we are closed to guide you in your lessons. 

    Q:   How can I contact my teacher? 

    The Unified Classroom program has a "Communications" icon along the left-hand menu.  You can select one of your teachers from a drop down menu and "text" them right from Unified Classroom.  When they reply, you will see a red circle appear on your notification bell at the right of your page.

    If you would prefer email, you can find those addresses on each teacher page using the "Class Webpages" tab on our GAP homepage.

    Our Instructional Technology Specialist is Ms. Musselman.  You can also find her email on Class Webpages and she is available to help anyone who cannot logon to Clever and/or PowerSchool. 


    Q:  When will my teachers be available to answer questions?

    Teachers will be available via email during school hours, but especially between the hours of 10-11am and 2-3pm.


    Q:   Can my child still get access to food services?

    Curbside service is available daily from 11 AM - 1 PM at the following campuses:  ABES, FDHS, FES, OES, Spann and WRES.  Meals will be provided for any student up to the age of 18.

    Q:   My child doesn't have access to Wi-Fi at home. What should I do?

    Spectrum is offering 60 days of free Wi-Fi.  Call 1-244-488-8395 for information.
