• DDTwo Offers Voluntary Testing for Flu & COVID-19

The Dorchester School District Two is offering free voluntary testing for COVID-19, Influenza A, and Influenza B for district students, staff, and families. Testing will be available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 115 Devon Road in Cottage 18, which is located behind Knightsville Elementary School.

These tests have been made available through a grant in partnership with the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. July 22, 2022 Staff Update:

With the new school year approaching, we want to remind staff that paid sick leave for COVID-19 expired effective June 30, 2022. Staff will need to use accrued paid sick leave to take applicable absences.

For COVID-19 cases, the state requires us to continue using the COVID-19 Reporting Form. Individuals will complete the form, and our Nursing & Health Services team will communicate directly with them to share important information about returning to DDTwo buildings.

We will continue to monitor our COVID-19 cases and, if deemed necessary by the district, may reinstate paid sick leave for COVID-19.
