Degrees and Certifications:

Lisa Enslin

My name is Lisa Enslin, and this is my 27th year in education.  I began my career as both a teacher and a teacher trainer with the US Peace Corps in the southern African country of Namibia.  I have also taught math in Berkely County, Pinewood Preparatory School and Oakbrook Middle School.  This is my first year at RMSA and I’m thrilled to be here.

I grew up in Charleston, SC and graduated from St. Andrew’s High School.  I received my undergraduate degree at Furman University and my master’s degree at the University of South Carolina.  My husband and I live here in Summerville with our two daughters.  Bethany is a 10th grader at Ashley Ridge and Chloe is a 7th grader at Rollings.  Rollings has been a part of our family since Bethany entered the school as a sixth grader strings student years ago.

In our spare time, my family enjoys spending time at Edisto Island.  We also have several pets that we enjoy:  two snakes, three birds, a frog and a dog!  I also enjoy reading and travelling.
