Fort Dorchester H. S. PTSA is a non-profit, volunteer organi-zation made up of parents, teachers and community members committed to enhancing the educational experience for all children at Fort Dorchester High School.

Your $7 help support all activities of FDHS PTSA. PTSA does what?
 Raises funds needed to support FDHS programs and activi-ties.
 Provides a more fun school environment through appreci-ation luncheons, contests, freebies, school beautification, and other activities.
 Grants for teachers!
 Grants for student clubs, and scholarships!
 Provides incentives and motivates students, through prizes and awards.
 Supplies a flow of volunteers year-round.
 Oversees the Spirit Store.
 Organizes the school’s participation in the National Reflec-tions Arts Program.
 Welcomes, informs, and supports new ideas that will benefit FDHS, through its monthly leadership meeting.
 Is an advocate for FDHS students at different levels, outside the school.

MEETINGS
Board meetings occur once a month. At the general member-ship meetings PTSA members can vote on budgets, changing standing rules, and vote for new board members -- among many other activities. Your input and feedback are important on how the funds are spent. Come join us for a session!
