Hi, I am Mary Ellen Foster.  This is my second year as a Math Assistance teacher at Alston Middle School.  I have been teaching for 22 years with 20 years in elementary school, teaching kindergarten, second grade, and reading intervention.  I am originally from Johnstown, NY and currently live in Summerville.  I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Elementary Education, a masters' in Special Education, and a minor in Spanish.  I am nationally board certified.  I have 6 children with the youngest entering 6^th grade and the oldest entering his junior year in college.  I love being outdoors and active. I am so happy to be teaching math 180 again this year!
