Hi. I am Mrs. Ranslow and I am the Dance Director here at Alston Middle School. This is my 2^nd year teaching at AMS and I am so excited for another amazing year! I received my Bachelors of Arts in Dance with a minor in Entrepreneurship from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Previous to teaching at AMS, I was working in the Dental field in Florida while continuing to teach at local dance studios in the area. My goal for our Dance Department is to give dancers a lifelong education in Dance as well as an appreciation for Performing Arts as a whole. Dancers will learn the basics of technique in styles such as Jazz, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Ballet and Acro as well as performance quality and confidence to hit the stage and give it their all.
