Hello. I'm Laurie Ritter. I am returning to AMS after 18 years. My family has moved back to Summervile from the North Myrtle Beach area of Horry County. This is the beginning of my 25th year as a Special Educator and my first year back at AMS. 

My husband, Michael, is the pastor at Bethany UMC and we have been married for 22 years. Our son, Dow(20), is a junior at Lander University and our daughter, Emma(18), is a freshman at Anderson University. We have 2 dogs, Gabby and Izzy, a cat named Jade and a ball python named Eden. 

In my spare time I enjoy being at my happy place in the North GA mountains at Lake Rabun where I love to swim, water ski and drive our Wooden Chris Craft.  My hobbies are photography, singing, reading, SCUBA diving, crochet and taking care of my family.
