Hi, I'm Mr. Silgado. I was born in Colombia. I earned my BS in Biology and Chemistry (2005) and MA in Education (2009) both in Colombia; then traveled to Venezuela to earn my Ed. D (2015). 

I moved to the USA in 2016. This is my 7th year in the United States and my 2nd year at Alston Middle. 

I love teaching, learning, hiking, reading, eating food from other countries and cooking food from my country. I like to watch Colombian National Fútbol (soccer) Team Matches, wearing its iconic yellow jerseys.  I also like to listen to the Pop singers Shakira, Carlos Vives and Maluma.
