Hello, My name is Sophie Snell! I am so excited about being a teacher at Alston Middle School. I am an alumni of Alston Middle School and I attended the University of South Carolina for music education. I play the clarinet and violin primarily, but I love playing the flute and trombone as well! In my free time I love to read, run, hike and attend concerts for local musicians.

My goal is to give students a lifelong education in music and an appreciation for the arts. Students in my class will learn how to play an instrument, practice, and perform. Students will also learn concert etiquette and music theory/history. Can't wait to have another great year at AMS! :)
