School counselors work to meet the needs of all students by developing a comprehensive and developmental counseling program that promotes academic success, social/emotional wellness, and college and career readiness. School counselors provide both direct and indirect services to students in order to meet their needs and support the whole school family. Here are some ways we meet the needs of our students here at Sires...

Direct Student Services

  • Monthly classroom lessons
  • Small-group counseling
  • Individual counseling

Indirect Student Services

  • Referrals to mental health counseling
  • Consultation services with staff and families
  • Annual career fair
  • Student Support Team (SST)
  • PBIS Team
  • Capturing Kids' Hearts Lead
  • School Health & Wellness Lead
  • Terrific Kids
  • 504 coordinators
  • Assisting with statewide testing
