The 2020-2021 School Year marks my 20th year in education. I started my career in Charleston County and then taught for 2 years in Virginia. For the last 17 years, I have been honored to call Flowertown my home. Much of my time at FES has been spent in the 3rd grade classroom. However, I have spent the last 9 years as the Literacy Coach and then the Title 1 Facilitator and Curriculum Coach. I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Winthrop University and my Master’s Degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University. I have my state endorsement as a Literacy Teacher and Literacy Coach. I love bringing families, community members, faculty and staff members, and students together to work toward the common goal of student success!
